Later today, you will go to school and pick up a new remote learning packet! This packet is filled with more fun choice boards that will last you until the end of the year. Just like last time, there is one for art, and you should be completing one art prompt a day, M-F. Turn in your work on ClassDojo messages or email me at difebboa@lynnschools.org every Friday.
Our new theme is change & adaptations. Here are some key questions to think about while creating your artwork over the next few weeks:
What does it mean when something changes?
Do you think change is good or scary, or both? Why?
What does it mean to change?
What does it mean to adapt?
Many of the art prompts have to do with animals and their adaptations. You may be wondering - what does this have to do with me? The answer; a lot. Animals have been dealing with intense and sudden changes since the beginning of time. Now humans are going through something similar. Animals can teach us a lot about how change can challenge us and make us better with time.
Some of the art prompt have to do directly with you and your feelings. Don't be afraid to dig deep and reflect on how you feel. Art is a special place where you can express yourself without words, and you will not be judged.
I hope these prompts inspire and challenge you. Remember, they are a launching pad for your creativity!
